It provides you with two exclusive Virtual Machines, one running Oracle 21c Database and other running ORDS, Apache, Mail Server etc. You get full admin access to both the VMs, database and APEX instance. The Cloud DB Hosting plan is designed to meet the high data storage requirements, greater performance and level of control when they are important for your projects.
You can create any number of workspaces, schemas with Cloud DB plans, host your websites and emails. Cloud DB machine comes with
CentOS 7, Oracle Application Express (APEX) 22.1, Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) 22.1, and Oracle 21c Standard Edition. A user-friendly control panel is provided to manage your websites, emails etc. but you can also use SSH to configure anything you need. You get full root access to the machine and if you want to install any other software yourself, you can do that also. Once a new version of APEX is available we inform our Cloud DB clients and they can schedule an upgrade of APEX as per their convenience. If a client doesn’t want to upgrade APEX, the old version will continue on the server. We also apply Operating System, Database and APEX patches ourselves. This is a Fully Managed Cloud DB hosting plan and you can simply open a ticket in case you need our help.
